I have 3 kids. My oldest turns 6 in exactly one month. I had my last biological kid 19 months ago which is a big milestone because it's the longest I have been NOT pregnant since getting married in 2007.
I have battle wounds and saggy skin and mommy brain and irreversible hip expansion. I have bad habits and a rotten case of self-entitlement.
Today I start a new leg of the race. It's uphill. It's hard. I need to be a little extreme. I've got to be careful though. I'm slightly obsessive compulsive. I don't want this journey to be at the expense of being a wife, mom, friend, business owner, community builder, church-lover, God-worshiper...you know, all those important hats, roles and responsibilities; joys and commitments; challenges and value systems. In fact, I want it to enhance it all. Too much to ask for? I'll let you know. | LKM
