Tyler + Jenny have had to wade through one heck of a season of unknowns as they were supposed to have their wonderfully large and lovely wedding THIS sunday. As they have tweaked their plans and adjusted to the demands of a pandemic, they have remained gracious and excited about the right things….ESPECIALLY each other. And that is EXACTLY what oozed out of their engagement session—deep delight in each other.

Q. What was the the 'look' or 'vibe' that you wanted to nail with your engagement session?
A. The look we were going for in this shoot and our wedding was/is modern desert fairy-tale with lots of interesting light. Laura really nailed it! She also captured exactly what we were thinking in getting the perfect "Pride and Prejudice" shot!
Q. What were you most nervous about leading up to the shoot? What do you care about the most?
A. Before the shoot, we were nervous about the shoot being awkward, or being too nervous to be photogenic. We hoped that our engagement pictures would be able to capture the love and the comfort that we feel when we are around each other.
Q. What were your favorite moments during your shoot? Things that made you laugh or were just plain memorable?
A. Our favorite moments were the silly ones, like making each other laugh by saying "enchiladas" into each others' ears, and just getting to see the sunrise in a beautiful place.
Q. What was most memorable about your session with LKM?
A. One of the things that was most memorable about the shoot was that it felt very natural and low-key. There wasn't pressure or awkward poses, and it was fun playing around to see what would work.
Q. If you have seen pictures, what do you think? Which are your top favorites?!
A. The pictures are great, we love them! Our favorites were the close-ups where we are looking into each other's eyes, and we chose the picture of Jenny hugging Tyler from behind for our save-the-dates.
Q. If you were to share your experience with another couple interested in hiring LKM, what would you say?
A. Hire her! She is a pro and really knows what she is doing, but the process feels very natural and Laura will make you feel comfortable regardless of your experience with photography.
